Received 3/26/2024 5:30 pm: Larimer County has reviewed your application for a Special Event Permit and found that additional information is needed. Please use the web link at the end of this message to provide this information. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL WITH THE REQUESTED INFORMATION. --- Agency Requesting Information: LETA 911 I would like LFRA / Larimer County to consider a keyword for this event and requiring the applicant to included the keyword at the entrance for attendees. I have no idea what this means or how to address it. There is no keyword for attendees at the festival. No contact information provided in order to respond. Larimer.gov number is (970) 980-2500 and a dead end when called. Received 3/26/2024 9:39am Larimer County has reviewed your application for a Special Event Permit and found that additional information is needed. Please use the web link at the end of this message to provide this information. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL WITH THE REQUESTED INFORMATION. --- Agency Requesting Information: Loveland Fire 1. This event will require a separate application for a permit and issuance of a permit from LFRA. Permit application can be found here: https://lfra.org/wp-content/uploads/Special-Permit-Form-011624-005.pdf Be sure to include the COI in this LFRA submittal. Check: Submitted and paid to LFRA on 3/19/24 in person. Confirmed LFRA received on 3/26/2024 by phone. 2. All tents > 700 SF require a tent permit from LFRA. Assuming a professional tent company will obtain this permit from LFRA and erect and take down the tents. Please confirm. All of these tents must be flame resistant (certificate) and comply with the Fire Code for exiting and portable fire extinguishers. This will be confirmed through the plan submittal and at time of inspection. Check: Submitted and paid to LFRA on 3/19/24 in person. Confirmed LFRA received on 3/26/2024 by phone. Confirmed with LFRA that only the one LFRA permit is needed. 3. Regarding weather - is there a "trigger" for announcing evacuation? Wind speed? Imminent risk of hail or lightning? Lightning within a specific distance of the event? These should be determined and stated in the application material. Sent email to: loren.barnes@larimer.gov, ricardo.perez@larimer.gov, camille.millard@larimer.gov, josh.roberts@larimer.gov, kohl.parrott@larimer.gov, lori.hodges@larimer.gov, everetrd@co.larimer.co.us, axmachjs@co.larimer.co.us Risk@larimer.org Weather Plan reference page 8 of application. I have a call into the LFRA about #3. Leah is looking into #3. This is a new item for the Special Event Permit process. I cannot find any guidance, nor has any been volunteered. We are open rain or shine. Is there a policy or procedure? What answer is the county looking for? Which website should I be monitoring? I have attached everything I have submitted to the county. I am very unclear on what is expected. Is a weather emergency different from other emergencies? Am I to create another emergency plan? And who should I be directing these questions? Not in email sent: I have looked through the other applications for more guidance. I see that I am not the only applicant struggling with this request. Please clarify or give any direction as to which department I should be contacting. 4. Any food truck serving at the event is required to have a 2024 fire permit at least 10 working days before the event. Day-of inspections will not be conducted. Any food trucks not permitted in advance will not be allowed to vend. Check: Food Vendor List will be submitted directly to Health Department (I believe the list is due) 30 days before the event. Link I have used to find the form in the past in now a 404 error. I will contact the health department directly to figure out what the process is.
