Flood - Larimer County

Status: Approved

Comments: A portion of the event, including booths, activities, and parking, will be located within the regulatory FEMA Zone AE (Flood Fringe) floodplain. The booths within the floodplain should be elevated at least 18” above ground level and anchored to resist flotation. It appears that the event organizers already have a weather plan in place and will take appropriate action for people and automobiles in the event of a potential impending flood event. If the applicant has any questions regarding floodplains, please contact Tina Kurtz at tkurtz@larimer.org or (970) 498-5732.
