Description:
Kayak bass fishing tournament. The purpose is to select a club champion for the 2024 season based on the results of the tournament. Participants will launch kayaks from approved legal launches on Horsetooth Reservoir at 6:00am. Any kayak with an electric motor will go through an inspection before launching at a location to be determined. Participants will catch, photograph, and release black bass measuring at least 12

Comments: --Per the application, no food is being provided for this event, therefore a 2024 Colorado Retail Food License or 2024 Larimer County Temporary Food License is not required. --It is understood that the event will utilize park facilities for restrooms. --Per the application, participants will bring their own drinking water. --Please ensure an adequate number of trash receptacles are accessible throughout the event area. --Please ensure all staff/volunteers are aware of the emergency action/communication plans. --Please note, that the date and time of this event occurs during the hotter months therefore, it is recommended that the Emergency and Weather plans include considerations for Heat-related emergencies. We would recommend updating the plan to consider this possible hazard at the event and the event protocols.
