The CSU Cobb Lake Road Race is a bike race. It is one of the last remaining road races in the state. The riders will follow rules of the road, but we will need police along with flaggers that we will hire. This is the main fundraising event for the CSU Cycling team, and is necessary for us to fund our trips throughout the year. Event participants will park on the Anheuser-Bush property where registration and packet pick-up will be done. The start line is near registration on CR-52. The course makes a clockwise loop on CR-52 to i25 Frontage Road, right on CR-56, right on Taliesin Road, right on CR-52. Racers will be on course throughout the day. Four certified flaggers will be located at key locations on course to direct traffic. All roads will be open to traffic and racers will follow the rules of the road.

Information for the Poudre Fire Authority 1. We will be using only one 10x10 canopy without any wall structures meaning only the top is covered. This will be placed at registration as indicated on the map. 2. If the weather is cold, we have one propane gas heater that will be placed not directly underneath the canopy but close so that the volunteers can warm up if needed. It will be placed in the open without any covering and only turned on when needed. 3. Corn Doggies has reached out to the Larimer County (I'm not sure who exactly) and said, "as long as we are using our mobile unit which we will be, no additional licensing will be required as we have already gone through that process with licensing the food truck. Comments: --Per the Health Department Event Detail sheet, no food is being provided for this event, however, there was a revision and additional comment stating the mobile food vendor Corn Doggies will provide food for the event. All food vendors shall hold a 2024 Colorado Retail Food License or other appropriate food license. The location of the food truck was not provided on the site map, but the applicant clarified the truck will be in the venue parking lot from 10am-2pm. --Any food or beverages at aid stations shall be limited to commercially prepackaged food items that do not require refrigeration (energy bars, whole uncut fruit, etc.). --The event is proposing 4 portable restrooms at the parking area (Anheuser Bush) and 1 portable restroom at the finish of the race. The Biergarten will not be accessible during this day. Based on the duration of the event, attendance and staggered race times, this appears to be adequate. --The applicant stated there would be 1 handwashing station. It is reccomended that one hand washing station be provided at the finish line as well. --Handwashing stations shall be adequately stocked with soap, water, paper towels and a waste bin at all times. --Please ensure that all staff and volunteers are familiar with the emergency communication plan and proposed communication devices. --Ensure there is an adequate amount of trash receptacles throughout the event, including at handwashing stations, portable restrooms, and food vendor areas.
