Description:
To promote public health, raise money for local charities and non-profits and provide a first class marathon in Northern Colorado that draws people from all 50 states and other countries. Running race in its 22nd year. The marathon starts at Steven's Gulch Day Use Area and runs down CO-14, then south on 287, takes a right on 54-G before hoping on the bike path down to Lee Martinez Park and the finish line adjacent to Washington Park. This is the same course as previous years with roughly the same number of runners, vendors and volunteers. Includes a full marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5k. Alcohol will only be served at the finish line in Washington Park in Fort Collins. We will bus runners up tot he starting areas so there are not a significant number of vehicles up in the canyon. Traffic control will be provided by Work Zone Traffic Control this year. Sanitation will be provided by Republic Services as it has for several years.
