Description:
We will host a fundraising dinner for The Vegetable Connection in partnership with Well Fed Farm on September 15, 2023, from 6pm to 9pm. The Vegetable Connection is a nonprofit organization in Larimer County (EIN 27-0168821) who provides subsidized CSA shares from local farms to low income families and provides nutrition and cooking education about local vegetables. The event will take place outdoors on the land Well Fed is currently farming at 3992 Michaud Lane. We will be renting tables, chairs, 2 porta potties (regular not ADA compliant because of the limited number of guests and land challenges), and a handwashing station. The dinner will be served by Santa Elena's food truck, who will have their truck on site for immediate service. Volunteers will be servers. Our Board Members will have walkie talkie's for communication throughout the event for all needs and potential emergency management. We will connect with the nearest fire station ahead of time. Nicole Turner-Ravana will be in charge with the emergency management as needed with recommendations from the nearest fire station as to strategies in certain circumstances. An alcohol license will be requested. Please see the attached file for the layout of the event. Also attached is our insurance certificate.
