Comments: 9/28/2023 --Applicant has provided confirmation from the portable restroom supplier that 3 restrooms and hand sanitizer will be provided for the week of Oct 6th. No information was provided on the timeline of the rental (restrooms delivered to remain on-site for the month of October? or dropped every weekend?) nor frequency of pumping and maintenance from the provider. 3 portable toilets shall be provided for every day that the event is operational. Portables shall be provided with adequate toilet paper and hand sanitizer during hours of operation for the event. Portable restrooms shall be pumped and restocked a minimum of once per day or as needed. --The website indicates that there are farm animals as part of the daytime activities. We strongly recommend a handwashing station for people interacting with the animals and their enclosures. Animals can pass on harmful pathogens/germs to people, especially kids, such as E. coli and Salmonella as a result of not washing hands after touching animals and associated surfaces. --It is recommended that signs be posted around the enclosures to advise guests to wash hands after interacting with the farm animals. For some additional information and printable posters, please visit the Center for Disease Control website: https://www.cdc.gov/healthypets/specific-groups/stay-healthy-animal-exhibits.html --A simple camping-style, do-it-yourself setup would be adequate for Handwashing. This type of setup includes a table with a water container with an open-close valve, a bucket to collect wastewater (to be dumped in the outhouses), soap, paper towel and a trash receptacle. Please see example: https://www.youngfarmers.org/fsma_resources/portable-handwashing-stations/ --Applicant provided additional comments that the event will not provide any food vendors or concessions but special groups may hire vendors. If any food vendors are to be at the event, the vendor must hold a 2023 Colorado Retail Food License or 2023 Larimer County Temporary Food License. --Potable water shall be made available to attendees. An adequate supply of drinking water shall be provided from a public, treated water supply (which can be transported and dispensed in clean and sanitized food grade containers, or as commercial bottled water). Water from an untreated well is not approved.

Comments: The document that is attached labeled "7187_2023-09-25_09-52.pdf" is a special event "quote" of coverage. A quote cannot be accepted as proof of coverage for this event. A certificate of insurance will need to be provided showing Larimer County as the certificate holder and as an additional insured. The coverage will also need to include the duration of the event as listed in the event application. Thank you ________ Thank you for uploading the certificate of insurance for this event. Unfortunately, we are unable to approve this certificate for the following reasons: - The attached certificate expires before the event's last day (10/31/2023). - The certificate holder (bottom left corner) needs to be made out to Larimer County 200 W Oak St., Suite 4000, Fort Collins, CO 80549. - Larimer County must be added as an additional insured. Please note that Larimer County does not accept additional insured language that limits additional insured status to that which is “required by contract”; however, "by agreement" is an acceptable addition. Thank you
