Families can come trick or treating on our property and check out all the scary decorations. Candy is handed out on a haunted trail through the property. Includes a scavenger hunt, Would You Rather game, coloring station, games, loads of fun for everyone! Free for all but donations are accepted and welcome. There is one port-a-potty and one handwashing station, located near the parking area, before you come into the event. This is not ADA compliant. Emergencies will be handled using 911, and staff will communicate via walkie-talkie. I have not spoken with the fire department or EMS, but these were not required for last year.

Status: More Information Needed
Comments: As with last year's event, we need a Site Plan showing the location of all buildings and all proposed activities on site, not a set of marked-up photographs. It is possible some activities will be taking place in or under non-permitted structures. Owners were informed last year that planning approval and building permits were required, but we have no record of applications for any approvals since then. In addition, at least one portapotty and handwash station MUST be accessible to people with disabilities. If there is only one, it has to be accessible.CDOT

Status: Denied
Comments: Your property is not an approved community event center. Your Facebook page is advertising "Outdoor Party Venue" and needs to be removed. If you intend to utilize the property for this use, planning approval is required. Please contact me with more information. UPDATE 9-6-23. Code Compliance is denying this special event permit. The structures that are being used did not have building permits and there is an existing Code Compliance file on the property. The CC case is from 2022, and was opened on Oct. 20...so after the special event from last year would have been approved. Looking back at the activities, it looks like he proactively reached out to us and is aware of the need for a permit. The Owners are aware of this and will need to comply with zoning and building codes before approval is given by Code Compliance.Colorado Division of Wildlife

Comments: Please provide a certificate of insurance with event insurance/general liability limits of no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 general aggregate. The certificate of insurance must name Larimer County as the certificate holder (Larimer County 200 W Oak St Suite 4000, Fort Collins, CO 80525) and list Larimer County as additional insured. Please note that Larimer County does not accept additional insured language that limits additional insured status to that which is “required by contract”; however, "by agreement" is an acceptable addition.
