Date Submitted: 06/26/2023Description of the event: The Lederhosen Run of Red Feather Lakes is a 5K run intended to support the nonprofit foundation named The Caring Hearts of Red Feather Lakes Foundation. The purpose of the event is to bring the community together by creating a fun event for all to enjoy. The funds raised with reinvest in the Red Feather Area community. The Lederhosen Run will start at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 23 2023. The race will run from approximately 12:30pm to 3:00pm. The event will begin at 1078 Ramona Drive Red Feather Lakes, CO 80545, 300 yards up the road on Ramona Drive, and will end 300 yards before 1078 Ramona Drive Red Feather Lakes, CO 80545 at Minnehana. The race will go through Fox Acres which we have permission to do so and will end at The Tavern at Red Feather Lakes which is where the expo will be held. The expo will be in The Tavern's parking lot where we will also have the beer garden. There will be 3 port-a-potties and 3 hand-washing stations. All are ADA approved.

Comments: =Please ensure adequate potable water is available for the event. Water for drinking and preparing energy drinks shall be from a public, treated water supply, and transported and dispensed in clean food grade containers. Water from untreated wells is not approved. =Any food and beverage service at aid stations is limited to water, energy drinks, gels, and other prepackaged/shelf-stable food items. =If any post event food service is planned, food shall be provided by 2023 Colorado licensed retail food establishments (restaurants), licensed temporary event vendors, licensed mobile units (trucks/carts), and/or a Larimer County nonprofit. =An adequate number of portable restrooms must be provided at the start/finish area and as necessary at aid stations/throughout the course. The application indicates that 3 ADA-compliant portable restrooms will be provided for the event, however the location of the portable restrooms was not provided. To supplement permanent restroom facilities at the Tavern (which is supported by a septic system) we will require 3 portable toilets at the start/finish area to support the event and expo. =A minimum of 1 handwashing station shall be provided in the portable toilet areas. Handwashing stations shall have soap, paper towels, and waste receptacles (zero waste appropriate). =An adequate number waste receptables shall be provided throughout the event. =The Larimer County Noise Ordinance will apply to this event (expo). A maximum of 55 decibels is allowed from 7am to 7pm, and a maximum of 50 decibels is allowed from 7pm to 7am at the event site property lines. The applicant must ensure methods are in place to limit disturbance and impacts to neighboring properties resulting from crowed, amplified noise, live music, etc. The event occurs on Saturday, therefore complaints regarding noise disturbances would be directed to the Sheriff's Department. =Please ensure all staff/volunteers are familiar with the emergency action and communication plan.Larimer County Emergency Management

You must call Sheriff's Office administrative staff to arrange for deputy coverage (970) 498-5108 at least 1 month prior to event. Please be advised, Gnarr Runners are hosting a trail run on Boy Scout Ranch/Forest Service property this same weekend and may compete for limited emergency resources.Final Disposition
