Code Compliance

Status: Approved

Comments: There is an existing Code Compliance case on this property. The property owner is working with the Planning Division to obtain the required approvals. An application needs to be filed by the end of this month. If an application is not submitted, the special event permit will not be approved. I have put the status of "more information needed" until Monday, July 3rd. If an application is received, the status will be changed. If an application does not come in, the event will be denied until an application is received. 8-1-2023 -- All required planning documents have been submitted and I am therefore lifting the "More Info Needed" to approved.

Comments: --The application indicates food will be provided by a mobile food truck. The food truck operator must hold a 2023 Colorado Retail Food License. --Please ensure potable water is provided for attendees at the event. Drinking water shall be from a public, treated water supply (which can be transported and dispensed in clean and sanitized food grade containers, or commercial bottled water). --An adequate number of portable restrooms shall be provided for the event, with at least one being ADA compliant. It is understood that the property is supported by a septic system which is not designed to accommodate an event of this capacity, and therefore the residence bathrooms shall not be used as part of the event. For this event attendance and duration with alcohol service, a minimum of 3-4 portable restrooms is recommended. --Please ensure at least one hand washing sink is provided in the portable restroom area and at any food service area. The hand washing stations must be adequately stocked with soap, paper towels, a waste bin and wastewater collection bucket (if applicable). --Please note that Larimer County has a Noise Ordinance limiting sound levels during the day and evening for events. The property is 7.3 acres but there are homes within a few hundred feet. Music and/or participant noise shall be limited to prevent noise levels from exceeding 55 decibels at the property lines from the hours of 7am-7pm and 50 decibels from 7pm-7am. Since the event is over the weekend, complaints regarding noise disturbances would be directed to the Sheriff's Department. If not already doing so, please notify neighbors of event and provide contact information so that they may notify owners to resolve issues before contacting the sheriff. --Please ensure an adequate number of trash receptacles are provided throughout the event site. --Please lightly apply water to any dirt access and parking areas the day of the activities to help control dust for the attendees and to prevent any off-site transport of dust to neighbors. --Thank you for submitting an emergency action plan. Per the plan, staff and volunteers will be informed of the plan prior to the event. It is understood that staff with CPR/first aid training will be present.
