The event is specifically scheduled on Memorial Day weekend because it is a fundraiser for the Veteran’s Plaza and it is part of their celebration event in Spring Canyon Park that weekend. We specifically do a ruck march for this reason which makes the route important for the challenge of the uphill. We are updating the 10k course time limit to 2 hours as the slowest finishers for the past several years have been 1:30-2:00 and the last mile of the course is on the bike path. The majority (90%) of the participants finish in 1:15 or faster for the 10k.
5. Date Submitted: 04/24/2023
Moving 10k start time to 7:00 am (previously 8:00 am) in order to have runners off the road earlier.
