Please find the venue map, course map, event emergency operations plan

2. Date Submitted: 04/21/2023
Please find the attached KML file for the Red Feather 5K. Also find the road impact timeline and grid spreadsheet. This is not a full closure of any road, the temporary impact to CO 67J <30 min will only occupy the northbound lane. Fox Acres is private Property and we have been given authorization to impact the roads for the duration of the event. Romona Drive we will only impact the westbound lane from 9:30AM until 10:41AM. The venue is in the parking lot of the Tavern at Red Feather Lakes, not on Ramona Drive. I’ll drop these into the portal as well Thank you for your help, david

Updated Operations Plan The County forwarded a number or complaints that reference a fishing tournament, fourth of July parade and crafts fair. I can't seem to locate any information on the County's site regarding these events. Regardless, the event will have <250 participants and have minimal impact to the alleged Red Feather Lakes 4th of July activities. County Sheriffs have been hired for traffic control. Course marshals have been secured for Ramona Road where traffic will be active during the event. The event team will manage separation between runners and vehicles. The proposed venue is the event owner's business parking lot and will adequately host the participants and spectators. The impact to roads for the event is limited (9:30am-10:30am) Off site parking and shuttle service has been arranged to alleviate the congestion in the downtown Red Feather Lakes village. No parking is available for any size event at the moment. If there are any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
