Description:
This is our annual regatta (sail boat race) that has been a popular event for years. This is our typical two day event and will not have the need for extra days like last year. As stated above, we anticipate the 9a-8p window both days for setup, event, and awards.
We will not need road closures, as this will occur on the water at the lake and in our clubhouse. We have attached the safety plan, the insurance coverage, our SOS certificate of good standing, and the LCPH food safety checklist that we will follow where applicable.
Thank you!

Comments: -The application indicates that food will be catered and states that the Larimer County Food Safety Checklist will be followed for prepared meals and snacks. However, the website indicates food service for sailing club events are potluck-style. If utilizing a caterer or outside food vendor, the food service provider must hold an active 2023 Colorado Retail Food License.-If on-site restrooms are outhouses with no running water for handwashing, at least one (1) handwashing station shall be provided. There are various options for renting or purchasing portable handwashing stations, but a simple camping-style, do-it-yourself setup would be adequate. This type of setup includes a table with a water container with an open-close valve, a bucket to collect wastewater (to be dumped in the outhouses), soap, paper towel and a trash receptacle. Examples provided here:
https://www.youngfarmers.org/fsma_resources/portable-handwashing-stations/
-Water for drinking shall be from a public, treated water supply, and transported and dispensed in clean food grade containers, or commercial bottled water.
-Since this is an outdoor event, it is recommended that shade be provided for off-water activities at the clubhouse if not already provided by the coordinators.
