Event participants will park on the Anheuser-Bush property where registration and packet pick-up will be done. The start line is near registration on CR-52. The course makes a clockwise loop on CR-52 to i25 Frontage Road, right on CR-56, right on Taliesin Road, right on CR-52. Racers will be on course throughout the day. Four certified flaggers will be located at key locations on course to direct traffic. All roads will be open to traffic and racers will follow the rules of the road.
Description:
The CSU Cobb Lake Road Race is a bike race. It is one of the last remaining road races in the state. The riders will follow rules of the road, but we will need police along with flaggers that we will hire.
This is the main fundraising event for the CSU Cycling team, and is necessary for us to fund our trips throughout the year.

Attached is the updated course map in pdf and KMZ format. The Emergency Response plan is attached as well.
For port-a-pottie services, Republic Services will be used. They will provide 5 port-a-potties, 4 at the staging area and 1 at the finish line. An additional 3 yard dumpster will be brought to the staging area as well to handle waste produced.

Attached is the updated course map for the event as well as our emergency response plan. A KMZ file of the course has been sent to the Larimer County Engineering Department.
For port-a-pottie services, Republic Services will be used. They will provide us with 4 at our staging area, 1 at the finish line, and a 3 yard dumpster at the staging area for waste collection.

Comments: -Please ensure that all staff and volunteers are familiar with the emergency communication plan and proposed communication devices.-Please ensure potable water is provided for the event. Drinking water shall be from a public, treated water supply (which can be transported and dispensed in clean and sanitized food grade containers, commercial bottled water).
-Adequate toilets must be provided at the start/finish area and throughout the course/first aid stations. The site plan indicates there will be four portable toilets at the staging area and one at the finish line. Extra portable restrooms are always recommended at start/finish areas. This may be adequate if the proposed total attendance of 500 is not expected to be sustained in these locations throughout the event.
-Please ensure at least one portable hand washing sink is provided in each portable restroom area. The hand washing station must be adequately stocked with soap, paper towels and a waste bin.
-Please ensure adequate number of trash receptacles are provided as needed throughout the course.
-There will be an ambulance onsite. Please ensure first aid kits are provided at any first aid stations.
-Per the application, no food or alcohol will be provided. If any food or beverage is provided at any location in the event, it shall be limited to:
---Uncut, whole fruits
---Gels, snack/food items that are shelf-stable or prepackaged, and water/energy drinks
(foods/drinks requiring refrigeration for food safety are not approved for aid stations or at the event without proper permitting).
---Bulk snack items can be dispensed using a scoop with handle, with handle stored up and out of product
