Description:
I am rowing for 24hrs solo on Carter Lake in a coastal row boat designed for rough surf and flat water. I will have 3 on North Beach of the lake in a small tent.
ICOM M73 VHF Marine band radios will be on boat and on tent crew channel 14
VHF DMR radio backups
Iridium Extreme Sat Phone will be on site
Sat com based Bivy Stick with GPS tracking and SOS on rower
PFD on boat
10000 lumen head lamp on boat and additional lighting
Massive LED lights on North Beach and South Beach for way point assistance.
All dedicated crew are advanced first responders. Emergency Department doctor also on site for majority of event.
Retired Fireman /rescue diver/paramedic on crew
volunteer power boaters to follow dusk to dawn
There are no services requested to provided by any organization unless in the unlikely event of an emergency to life or limb.
Park Rangers are welcome to attend or volunteer

Comments: Please provide a certificate of insurance with event insurance/general liability limit no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 general aggregate. The certificate of insurance must name Larimer County as the certificate holder (Larimer County 200 W Oak St Suite 4000 Fort Collins, CO 80525) and list Larimer County as an Additional Insured.
