Description:
Venus de Miles is Colorado’s all-women’s rules of the road cycling ride, now in its 15th year. The is produced by and fully supports Greenhouse Scholars, a Boulder-based education nonprofit that cultivates extraordinary leaders to change low-income families and communities. Bohn Park will be the site of the Starting Line and Finish Festival, that includes food trucks for lunch, cocktails, beer, vendors for shopping, body work (massage, facials, cupping and more), plus live music and giveaways throughout the day.

There are 3 routes: 30, 60 and 100 miles. The routes are well connected to minimize the number of roads impacted by the event. The start times are also staggered so that it limits large group of cyclists at one time, this allows them to spread out much quicker.
100 miles at 6:30 am, 60 miles at 7:30am, 30 miles at 8:30am

The number of riders per ride:
100 mile = 100
60 mile = 250
30 mile = 350

The routes are well marked and have course marshals in critical locations. It is fully staffed by medical, bike mechanics, and support vehicles. We are fully prepared to hire paid professional flaggers and law enforcement details as needed for left turns and busy intersections.

Riders will be identified by rider numbers and cars will have branded decals.

Estes Police in regards to Dry Gulch and Hwy 34, because there is not a traffic light at that intersection and it is a busy road, I would prefer having a police officer there from 9:30am - 1:30pm. Alternatively if it is preferred I could hire a professional flagger.

5. Date Submitted: 08/05/2022
Updated certificate of insurance

6. Date Submitted: 08/09/2022
Per CO7 I had received this confirmation that we could use CO7
