I have added some detail to the Tavelli Duathlon map. This is a rules of the road event. I'm not great with computers so I will try and walk you through the map I have attached and how we blocked off Miramont in the past and where our volunteers stand to stop traffic or the bikers to keep all participants safe. 1. In the past we have had our SRO officer park his police car sideways on Miramont with the lights on blocking the entry from Lemay onto Miramont. He has also used orange cones to block of the entrance to Miramont from Lemay. 2.Our Tavelli staff volunteers are marked with stick figures. They all wear orange vests. They are placed at all intersections to keep bikers safe. The volunteers will help stop traffic or bikers when the two conflict. 3. Each volunteer has a small first aid kit and most of them have a walkie talkie so they can communicate with our school nurse if there are any accidents. I would like to talk to your board to find out what we need to do to make this event work. I am working on getting in touch with our school office manager to get the fees paid.
