The Realities Ride is a charity motorcycle ride set to take place on Saturday, August 27th. All riders will exit Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson at 9:30am and travel to three locations across Northern Colorado (Bruce's Bar & Restaurant at 123 1st St, Severance, CO 80550 / Private Land at 13134 Starry Night Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 / American Legion Post 4 at 2124 Co Rd 54G, Fort Collins, CO 80524) with final stop and ride finish around 2pm at The Biergarten at Anheuser-Busch at 2351 Busch Dr #2, Fort Collins, CO 80524. An application has already been submitted to Colorado State Patrol and our Event Contingency & Emergency Response Plan attached. No road closures are needed for the Realities Ride.

Below is a copy of our participant waiver, as requested. THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE IS A CONTRACT WITH LEGAL CONSEQUENCES. READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. Persons will not be permitted to participate in the Realities Ride and Poker Run, nor will they be permitted to claim any prize, unless they sign this form and it is submitted to Realities For Children prior to participation in this event. I am fully aware that riding a motorcycle can be a hazardous activity, and I agree to hold any and all event organizers and sponsors harmless from any liability, injury or damage to personal property, which may arise from my participation in this recreational event. I further attest that I have no physical or medical condition which would endanger myself or others if I participate in this event. I agree to accept full responsibility for my actions and will abide by laws recognized by the State of Colorado if and when I am involved in a grievance with another party. I will use my best judgment and be courteous to other motorcyclists during this event. I agree to let organizers of this event use photographs of myself, electronic recordings or other promotional materials featuring my likeness or being to promote this event or its sponsors in the future. In signing this form, I am declaring that I have up-to-date motorcycle liability insurance, which meets the minimum requirements of the State of Colorado. I am also stating that I have a valid motorcycle operator’s license which is recognized by the State of Colorado and all these statements are true. I understand that false declarations are punishable by law and may disqualify me from this event. FOR A PARENT OR GUARDIAN OF MINOR: I as parent or guardian of the minor named above, hereby give permission for my child or ward to participate in this event and further agree, both individually and on behalf of my child or ward, to the terms of the above.

One of the ride stops appears to be a private property located at: 13134 Starry Night Rd Fort Collins, CO 80524 =No site plan was submitted to understand how the site is setup for egress/ingress, parking, food service, restrooms etc. 2. This private property is on well and septic system, therefore adequate temporary facilities need to be provided for water, toilets and handwashing stations to support the attendees. Based on the liquor license, the event will be on this site from 11a-1pm. For 3 hours rotating in 500-750 attendees with alcohol service, there shall be a minimum of 6 portable restrooms on-site. A minimum of 2 handwashing stations shall be provided to support the restroom area. 3. Potable water shall be made available to event guests by commercial bottled water or from approved water dispensing containers. Drinking water must come from an approved public supply and not from untreated well water. 4. Adequate trash receptacles shall be provided on-site in the area of the portable restrooms and food and beverage areas. 5. Each food vendor or food business providing food at the start of the ride at Thunder Mountain and throughout all ride stops shall hold either a 2022 Colorado Mobile retail food license (food trucks, push carts, trailers); or a 2022 Larimer County Temporary Event license (all vendors in a tent, even licensed restaurants, need a separate temp event license for Special Event sales). 6. Noise generated during the event while at the private property and the American Legion site shall follow the County Noise Ordinance and maintain decibels at 55 dbA or less at the property lines of the venue.
