Geology student class field trip and exercise as part of a Colorado State University degree course (GEOL 376 Geologic Field Methods). Students will make observations and non-invasive measurements (geological compass measurements) on rock outcrops along the trails and shoreline of Pinewood Reservoir. Students will work supervised by the instructor and assistant. In general, students will be split into small group (3-5) to work. Some group discussion will be held, at the outcrops on the reservoir shore below the western parking lot.
