This is a mixed terrain, road and gravel, cycling ride. Leaving from New Belgium Brewery and return to the same venue. This is a rules of the road event. The rides will head east on Vine across I25, north to Carr, west to 287, South back to Fort Collins. All the routes are on public county roads with the 140 mile route seeking to cross UNDER 287 at the Roberts Ranch, this route is TENTATIVE and hinges upon contact of the Roberts Ranch. This is the 5th year of the event with similar routes to other years. This is a rules of the road event with traffic controls approved through this permit and the City of Fort Collins as needed.

Traffic controls are to be worked in with the City of Fort Collins inside of the city limits, flaggers, and CSP. The finish line, and start finish venue are on New Belgium Property.

Parking and venue details are attached and are all contained in New Belgium Brewing Property

On the route there are rolling EMT's in vehicles, there are also first responders at aid stations.

Food at the event venue is provided by county and city licensed food vendors, Rio Grande Restaurant and La Piadina food truck and likely one more added later

Sanitation and trash are contracted to Republic sanitation services, formerly Gallegos, who maintain bathrooms, trash, and recycling along with New Belgium in house services.

Spectators and cars associated with the event are not allowed on course to maintain road openness. There are aid stations off the road or in the shoulder that do not block traffic that provide services to riders.

This is a rules of the road event, like years past, we seek to have the help of FC police, CSP, and the Sheriff department to increase safety and to enhance the event but we are not looking to close roads. We do provide signage along the road at the event to inform drivers there is an event. Any county road sign amenities are welcome

All signage is temporary, We have drivers on event day sweep the course for trash, within 48 hours all signs are removed by later sweepers of the event.

Estimated Participants: 1800   Estimated Spectators: 50

Comments: Route maps received. 06/07/2022 FYI - the county's overlay project will be starting sometime in mid-July on CR 74E. It is unlikely that you will encounter construction activities on the day of the event (Sunday, 7/24) but there may be unfinished work activities such as uneven lanes, bumps where the overlay finished up the previous week, or drop-offs at the edge of pavement at the shoulders.
