The XTERRA Lory Triathlon, entering its 15th season, takes place out of Lory State Park, with the swim portion of the triathlon (1/2 mile) taking place in North Eltuk Cove of Horsetooth Reservoir. We once again have Rapid Response Paramedic Crew providing water safety support, along with water safety lifeguard and kayak crews. This year we moved the start 30min earlier in the morning to help clear the water by 8:15am. This was done to help clear the state park before they see an uptick in day users around 11:00am.
