River Bluffs Open Space

Lucky Brew 10k/5k is a returning professionally timed running event in our run.Windsor Race Series. This year the start/finish and after race expo will be held at Kyger Open Space. The Start/finish will be held at the Kyger Open Space Trail head with the 10k starting at 9:00 am and the 5k starting at 9:15 am. Each distance will have one mass start at their
respective times. Routes are attached for each race distance. Race registrants will be able to enjoy a postrace beer, food from vendor food trucks/free food, post race award ceremony starting at 10:30 am, music, with a post race celebration at an off site location. We will have 2 aid stations for the 5k, marked AS on the attached 5k route. We will have 3-4 aid stations for the 10k, marked AS on the attached 10k route. We will utilize a Gallegos Sanitation Company to have a Port-a-John at the turn around for the 10k and at the start/finish. We will have sanitation recepticles at each aid station, turnaround, and at the start finish. We are working with a local cement company to secure parking for race registrants/spectators at a nearby location.

10k route is attached - start/finish at Kyger Open space. Route heads outbound south along Kyger Reservoir to River Bluffs Trailhead/trail where the route then follows River Bluffs trail with a turn around near CR 13, returning back along River Bluffs Trail, north along Kyger Reservoir to the finish at Kyger Open Space

5k route is attached - start/finish at Kyger Open Space. Route is similar to 10k route with a turn around along River Bluffs Trail.

1. A certificate of insurance with event insurance/general liability limits no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 general aggregate. The certificate of insurance must name Larimer County as certificate holder (Larimer County Risk Management 200 W Oak St Suite 4000 Fort Collins, CO 80525) and list Larimer County as additional insured. Please note that Larimer County does not accept additional insured language that limits additional insured status to that which is “required by contract”, however, "by agreement" is an acceptable addition.
2. A copy of the participant waiver.
