15.7 miles Highway 14/Poudre Canyon Road - from Stove Prairie Rd to Finish line on private land 0.5 miles West of Ted's Place (intersection of Hwy 14 & 287)

Half Marathon - 13.1 miles on Poudre Canyon Road/Hwy 14 from the Mishawaka to Finish on private land. Running last 13.1 miles of Marathon course.

5 Mile - 5 miles on Poudre Canyon Road/Hwy 14 from Gateway to Finish. Running last 5 miles of Marathon and Half Marathon course.

All races finish in the same place on private land parcel #0814000021


Description:
10th Annual Event: Marathon, Half Marathon & 5 Mile Running races
-Marathon start at Ohana Mountain Ranch
-Half Marathon start at the Mishawaka,
-5 Mile start at Gateway
East bound lane closure of Poudre Canyon Road From Stove Prairie Road to N CR29C - same as last 3 years.

Marathon race runs 10 miles in the Buckhorn Canyon from Ohana Ranch to the Poudre Canyon/Hwy 14 on Stove Prairie Road, turning right and running the rest of the race down the Poudre Canyon on Highway 14 and finishing on private land 0.5 miles west of Ted's Place/Hwy 287.
Half Marathon starts at the Mishawaka and runs down the Poudre Canyon in East bound lane to Finish area (last 13 miles of marathon course)
5-Mile race starts at Gateway Natural Area and runs last 5 miles of marathon & half marathon courses finishing at the same location.

Written approval from property owners at starting and finishing locations will be provided.

Comments: The Health Department has no significant concerns and ask that the standard requirements are followed for race events:
=Portable restrooms shall be provided with adequate trash receptacles at the start and finish areas, and throughout the course route on County roads.
=Please keep food and beverage service at aid stations and post-race limited to water, energy drinks, gels, energy bars, whole fruits, and other prepackaged/shelf-stable food items.
=Water (and prepared energy drinks) shall be from a public, treated water supply transported and dispensed in clean food grade containers.
=Adequate trash receptacles shall be provided at the aid stations throughout the run route.
=Provide first aid kits at aid stations for minimal injuries as well as effective communication services in the event of an emergency.
=The website description indicated that food will be provided, but it was not indicated who would prepare the food. Please be advised, food must be from a commercially approved source that holds a 2022 Colorado Retail Food License such as a restaurant, caterer, nonprofit, grocery store, etc to ensure safe food for race participants, staff, guests, etc. Please ensue an adequate handwashing station is setup at the open food handling area for food service. The sanitation company will have handwash stations avaible for rent, or handwashing station could be a do-it-yourself camping-style hand wash station/beverage cooler/receptacle with a flow control valve filled with warm water which is set up on a table with a bucket to collect graywater (to be dispensed in restrooms). Hand soap, dispensed paper towels and trash receptacle would also need to be provided.
