River Bluffs Open Space
Our marathon route has been re-routed and will now include a section in Larimer County, as we have participants run through River Bluffs open space on the Poudre River Trail, and around the Kyger Trail. The start and finish are at the Island at Pelican Lakes in Water Valley. Sanitation along this route include portable toilets and trash receptacles at one aid station near River Bluffs, provided by Gallegos Sanitation. Volunteers will man the aid station, and ensure complete clean-up of any trash by noon on Sunday, October 10th. A portion of the proceeds from this event go to Realities For Children. Impacts to parking at River Bluffs Open Space will be limited to 3-4 vehicles (Aid Station attendants).

Status: ApprovedComments: Please keep food and beverage service at aid stations limited to water, energy drinks, gels, and other prepackaged/shelf-stable food items.
Water (and prepared energy drinks) shall be from a public, treated water supply transported and dispensed in clean food grade containers.
Adequate trash receptacles shall be provided at the aid stations throughout the run route.
It is recommended to have first aid kits at aid stations for minimal injuries as well as effective communication services in the event of an emergency.
There are currently no local public health orders related to COVID-19 and Special Events. Please follow Larimer County's Coronavirus website for the latest information and any new public health orders at the time of the event:
