Parcel Number 3 534100063. The one acre, undeveloped lot, is next to 1719 Mills Drive, owned by the Santagatis. Two of the surrounding lots to this location are also owned by the Santagatis, next to it containing Sun Cottages and behind it. The event will take place on the empty lot. The manager of the Elk Meadow RV and Campground across the street has been contacted and stated that they host music on Saturdays and are excited for the event.
A band will play with the stage placed near the river. The stage will be placed as low as possible to allow the natural amphitheater inherent on the lot to assist in absorbing some of the sound. The band will start at approximately 6 pm and be done at approximately 9:30. There will be two porta-potties on site and a hand sanitizer station. A food truck has been hired as the food vendor. A portable bar will be placed on site for beer and seltzer drinks with temporary fencing around it. Bartenders have been hired to distribute the alcohol and assure that everyone is over 21 who picks up alcohol. A person has been hired to assist with parking throughout the event. They will wear a vest and hold an orange cone to assist individuals to park in an easy and safe exit pattern within the designated parking area-using temporary fencing to designate it.

We are planning to put bear proof trash containers on site. We will place these near the bar and the food vendor for easy access. We also have a team of people who are helping to host the party that will patrol the area and make sure trash is put into the containers. The host, as a general contractor, also has access to a roll away dumpster that will be placed on site to dump the cans into then secure with a bear proof top for overnight storage and haul away the following day.
The food vendor is working directly with Kevin to provide the information needed. I will post copies to the application as well.

I continuously get a "fakepath" message when I try to load additional files into this application. I have now saved the files on a USB drive and used a different computer and it is still happening. I am going to now send them via email to special events and request that they be uploaded. I appreciate your help; rather out of options on this end to get it to load the documents. I have uploaded stage design and photo. The load is 159.9 psf for the stage. It will be delivered and professionally installed. I have also uploaded the insurance policy required by risk management. I did receive approval via email from the Department of Health and Environment but that isn't yet reflected here in the application. I believe we are just waiting on a fire inspection form from the mobile food truck vendor. I will upload that as soon as I receive it. Thank you for your help.

Email the Special Events Coordinator regarding this application.
Status: ApprovedComments: Please provide more information on the stage. Will it be site-built? A temporary one hauled in? Rented from an Events Company?
Please verify the stage will hold a 100 psf live load, per International Building Code requirements.
5/4/21 updated my review status to Approved. When the information is uploaded, I will double-check for documentation from the events company on the stage's rated live load.
5/10/21 Stamped Colorado engineer's letter was shared, confirming stage built to 2018 International Building Code standards, which includes minimum live load.

Status: ApprovedComments: Nothing is mentioned in the Event Information regarding trash. This event will be an attractant to black bears due to food/trash production. Enough bear resistant trash receptacles (and people designated to keep people from piling next to/on top of receptacles is requested in order to curb potential for human-bear conflict.
4/14/21 received additional information. After review, we approve as written. Thanks.

Status: ApprovedComments: Per DOR email on 3/31 - as this is a private event on private land it will not require a special events liquor license:
if you are hosting a private party and tickets are not being sold for the event or making a profit from the alcohol, then there is no permit/license needed. Weddings and Corporate parties do not have permits for their events.
Status: More Information NeededComments: Thank you for the opportunity to provide commentary for this special event. Based upon the submitted information, an operational permit will be required from this office for any food trucks. If tents or canopies 400 sqft. or greater in size are proposed, a permit will be required. Please contact this office directly at phone 970-577-3689 or email email@example.com.
Status: ApprovedComments: On the Assessor's map, the address is 1723 Mills Drive with the parcel referenced in the application bordering the west edge of 1723. Both parcels are owned by the same family. Address 1719 does not appear on the Assessor's map but it does appear on Google Maps.
All parking must be completely off of the paved portion of Mills Drive. Mills Drive and the land north of it are in town but the parcels where the party will be held are in the county.
Status: ApprovedComments: Chris Manley has reviewed the COVID precautions on behalf of the Health Dept. Please stay informed on most current restrictions related to COVID by reviewing our Health Department COVID website:
If you have questions relating to outdoor events and COVID, please call the Health Department's Joint Information Center: 970-498-5500 (open Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm); or, text questions: 970-999-1770
Please note that the Health Department regulates food service in Larimer County. The proposed food truck is required to possess a 2021 retail food license. For questions relating to food service and licensing, please call Jim Devore at 970.498.6780 or firstname.lastname@example.org
It was noted that there are other residential properties as well as commercial properties around the area of the event. Please note that Larimer County adopted a noise ordinance which requires sound levels to be no more than 50 dbA at the event property line to reduce impacts to the nearest residential properties after 7pm. It is strongly recommended that the applicant reach out to all the residential properties to inform them of the event and provide contact information if disturbances are experienced so the applicant can adjust the sound system for the live music. Please note that the sheriff responds to noise disturbances from the public evenings and weekends.
It is difficult to tell if the parking and event areas are completely covered with vegetation or have exposed soil. Please be sure to control dust so that is does not transport off site. This can be achieved by lightly watering the area before the event.
Potable water shall be made available to event guests by means of potable water taps, commercial bottled water, or from clean and sanitized food-grade beverage dispensing containers. Drinking water must come from an approved, treated public water supply and not well water.
