Due to a special permit denial (because of a delay in application submission), we have changed the Realities Ride Route. We are no longer proposing to go to Vets Plaza in Fort Collins. Instead we will use The American Legion Post in LaPorte, CO as our 5th stop. We have updated the route and submitted an updated route map.

A Special Event Liquor Permit has been applied for by the applicant and is currently under review. Expected to be signed by BOCC on 5/4/21.
Received email communication on applying for the liquor permits through municipalities and using the American Legion license as your stop there. The only one I believe you will need to send to us is Sunrise Ranch. It looks like they are located on county property and not within the City of Loveland. You can double-check with the City of Loveland as well on that. I do not see the permits uploaded to this application.
We have received notice of your Land Use special event permit application that indicates that you intend to serve alcohol at your event. A special event liquor permit application must be submitted to the Clerk and Recorder’s Office no less than 30 days prior to your event. The application and requirements may be found at https://www.larimer.org/clerk/recording/liquor/special-events.
You have 5 stops listed and 2 would be within the local jurisdiction being the county. The others would be the municipalities of Loveland, Fort Collins, and Johnstown (ace hardware)?
You will need a special event liquor permit for Sunrise Ranch. If you intend to operate under the restrictions at the American Legion Post 4 (George Beach), then you will not need a liquor permit for that location as they hold a club license.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
