Description:
A survey of the emergence of the cicada, Platypedia putmani, will be completed each morning by counting and collecting the shed exuvia (larval skins). This is a continuation of 2020 Permit # 5722.The survey is completed along the trail to Horsetooth Falls. This is the 13th year of this survey. The collected exuvia will be deposited at the CP Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity at CSU. Up to 50 adult cicadas will be collected (by hand) along the trail and serve a voucher specimens for identity of the cicadas.

Comments: Please provide a certificate of insurance with general liability limit no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 general aggregate. The certificate of insurance must name Larimer County as the certificate holder (Larimer County Risk Management 200 W Oak St Suite 4000 Fort Collins, CO 80525) and list Larimer County as an additional insured. Please note that Larimer County does not accept additional insured language that limits additional insured status to that which is “required by contract”, however, "by agreement" is an acceptable addition.Thank you.
