Description:
The Lucky Brew Race will start and end at High Hops Brewery in Windsor, CO. Participants will start in waves of 25 runners every 5 minutes, per the most recent State of Colorado requirements for outside endurance events. All other covid-precautions will be taken including a socially distanced experience, masks required for all spectators/runners and a completely outdoor event. Windsor PD has been hired to assist runners in crossing CR13 both to and from the Kyger Open Space. 5k participants will circle Kyger and return to the start. 10k participants (no more than 150 people) will continue to River Bluffs Open Space, running on the Poudre River Trail for approximately 1.5 miles. Aid Stations will be placed near the existing restrooms at the River Bluffs trailhead and the turnaround point on the trail. Aid Stations will be manned and consist of a portable restroom, hand washing station and trash receptacle. The presence of Windsor/Severance first responders will also be requested and likely stationed at the Kyger Open Space parking lot. Sanitation has been secured by Gallegos Sanitation, with set-up scheduled for 03/12/2021 and removal on 03/14/2021. The route can be viewed here: https://www.plotaroute.com/map/1390804
