The event venue is at New Belgium Brewery - 500 Linden St, Fort Collins, CO 80524. There are 4 different cycling routes on various county roads. The routes do not contain any private property, canals, or HOA land.
In its 5th year, the FoCo Fondo is a daring gravel cycling adventure that starts and finishes at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, Colorado. Race the 115 mile Bite the Bullet open category for cash, prizes and a bolo tie or choose family-friendly 12- or 25-mile routes and make those end-of-summer memories together. Or challenge yourself with the rolling 50-mile route. Post-ride, enjoy the Fondo’s Festivall full of food trucks, vendors, bike-demos, live music, and activities for the kids. A portion of profits go to support after-school and summer programs through Safe Routes to School, an FC Bikes program. *Mileage is approximate, pending final permits.

Any aid stations along the bike routes may dispense water/energy beverages in disposable cups as typical for race aid stations. Food service at aid stations does not require a Health Dept license provided food and beverage service is limited to:
=commercially prepared and individually packaged foods and beverages that do not require refrigeration.
=whole uncut fruits and vegetables.
=water (and prepared energy drinks) shall be from a public, treated water supply transported and dispensed in clean food grade containers.
Please ensure food vendors in the event area are Colorado licensed retail food vendor/mobile truck, Larimer County licensed temp event vendor, or a Larimer County nonprofit organization per food safety regulations.
It was noted that restrooms will be provided at the event site, but infromation was not provided regarding restrooms along the route. Please identify public restrooms or provide portable restrooms at aid stations for riders. For the event site, 1000 people and alcohol service for approximately 5 hours of post-race fun, it is strongly recommended that 8 restrooms be provided unless numbers are otherwise required by the City of Ft Collins.
1-2 handwashing stations are recommended at the start/finish restroom area in addition to hand sanitizer for public health protections.
Please ensure adequate trash/recycle receptacles near restrooms and throughout the event site.

Poudre Fire Authority

An emergency access path of no less than 20’ wide shall be maintained free and clear of all immovable objects on streets and fire apparatus access roads at all times during the event. Road blocks may be placed on public streets to prevent traffic from crossing, but cannot block emergency travel. If road blocks are used ensure staff is available to remove barricade should emergency travel be necessary.
Any tent or air supported membrane structure greater than 400 square feet requires a tent permit. Any canopy over 700 square feet also requires this permit. The application for a tent permit can be found at https://www.poudre-fire.org/business/new-forms/tent-permit-application
Exiting requirements for fenced enclosures will be determined with the following formula: length x width divided by five= the occupant load
Occupant load of 1-500 requires 2 exits
Occupant load of 501-1,000 requires 3 exits
Occupant load of in excess of 1,000 requires a minimum of 4 exits
Exit widths are a minimum of 48 inches wide.
All food trucks are required to have a valid permit from the Poudre Fire Authority.
