CR loops to north and become CR29
CR29 north to W 1st St. (W Cty Rd 20)
East on 1st St to Cty Rd 23E
Left at CR18
East to CR21 (4 way stop sign)
Right onto CR16 (Bonnell West) This roads loops and becomes WCR 14
Right turn back on to Lone Tree Dr.

City of Loveland Permit Coordinator

Status: Approved

Comments: Only two miles occur in the Loveland jurisdiction. Most of the route is in the County so a permit is not necessary. We suggested for a safer route having signs that show an event is in process.

Comments: Thank you for submitting your route map(s) in kml/kmz format, it helps us track the many events more easily

The engineering department has a project planned on CR 14 between CR 21 & CR 23 this summer. Construction is currently planned to begin in July or August. The road will remain open to traffic during construction but there will be delays and times the road is limited to one lane in each direction.

Please check back in May or June and I can give you more details on the schedule.

Aid stations along the bike and run routes may dispense water/energy beverages in disposable cups as typical for race aid stations. Food service at aid stations does not require a Health Dept license provided food and beverage service is limited to:
=commercially prepared and individually packaged foods and beverages that do not require refrigeration.
=whole uncut fruits and vegetables.
=water (and prepared energy drinks) shall be from a public, treated water supply transported and dispensed in clean food grade containers.

If food is served/offered for the post-race event at the start/finish area, food shall be prepared by a Colorado licensed retail food vendor, Larimer County licensed temp event vendor, or a Larimer County nonprofit organization per food safety regulations.

Portable restrooms shall be provided with adequate trash receptacles at the start/finish and at aid stations throughout the bike/run County Rd routes.

Portable handwashing stations are recommended at the start/finish restroom area.

Comments: The swim and run portion of the event are in the Berthoud Fire District. Any closed roads with obstacles must had event staff readily available to move barricades for emergency vehicle access.
