48th annual Horsetooth Half Marathon starts on Dixon Canyon south of the former Hughes Stadium.

Working with County Health to develop a COVID-19 safety plan that will allow a field of 750 runners to compete. We have two variations of a wave plan, both of which have provisional approval.

Race will be run on coned course with a single lane closure on Centennial to Bingham and a single lane closure on Bingham to Overland. From Lions Park to finish, runners will run on Poudre Bike Path to Linden. Finish is located on Linden just south of Buckingham.

Comments: =Please keep food and beverage service at aid stations limited to water, energy drinks, gels, and other prepackaged/shelf-stable food items.

=Water (and prepared energy drinks) shall be from a public, treated water supply transported and dispensed in clean food grade containers.

=Adequate trash receptacles shall be provided at the aid stations throughout the run route.

=Though the post-race event is within City of Fort Collins, Larimer County Health Dept regulates all food service. Food vendors shall hold a 2021 Colorado Retail Food license or a 2021 Larimer County Event Vendor license.
