Event Information

Permit Type(s): Private Land

A time entry reservation, contactless event comprised of driving through a mile long display of lights on private property. There will be 21 nights currently, Thursday/Friday/Saturday through the holiday. The entire experience will last no longer than 30 minutes per car and proceeds are for local non-profits including: Colorado Youth Outdoors, Boys and Girls Clubs, UC Health, and Respite Care.

Next Phase Engineering has submitted a tentative traffic plan including: a traffic control plan drawn up by a traffic control company. We recommend two VMBs (variable message boards) on Kechter with “special event ahead. Prepurchased ticket required. Goto coloradoyo.org for tickets ”. The staff person in Kechter Road should be a certified flagger or off-duty police officer.

The circulation plan is set up to have NO operational impact or queuing on Kechter. Entering vehicles can come from either direction.
