Description:
We will be mirroring the event we had August 1st 2020. We will have around 140 participants, some volunteers and some General Admission guests not to exceed 175 people.
The event will take place in a very large grass area with the corn hole boards set up 10 feet apart. The tournament is a corn hole tournament, kept track of on an app, for players. Check in at 10 with the tourney starting at 11:30 and should be done by 4:00 p.m.

We will have 2-3 food trucks which will be set up 50 feet away from the tournament

We will have some breweries here serving beer, and I have sent over the application for that to you, and the documents as well. ( those will also be set up 50 feet away from the other activities)

All tickets will be sold on event brite, allowing us to collect contact info from guests.

Comments: The applicant has worked with Jason Eisenbach of the County Health Dept to obtain a variance for the event. In addition to following the variance conditions of approval, please ensure the following:

=It was noted in the description that 3 mobile food vendors will be providing food at the event. The food vendors shall possess a "2020 Colorado Retail Food licenses".

=Please ensure potable water is provided for attendees during the event. Bottled water is preferred, or sanitized beverage containers filled with treated water or drinking fountains.

=For the proposed 175 total of participants/spectators/volunteers/staff from 10a-4pm, a minimum of 4-5 portable restrooms is recommended. At least one restroom shall be of accessible design and and at least one handwashing station shall be provided with trash receptacles.

=Additional handwashing and hand sanitizer stations are strongly encouraged in the area of the mobile food vendors as extra precaution for public gathering in the time of COVID.

Comments: The property is zoned FA1-Farming.

Kechter Rd or E CR 36 is classified as a major collector with a minimum setback of 100 feet from the right-of-way centerline. CR 5 is classified as an arterial road with a minimum setback of 110 feet from the right-of-way centerline.

The north and east half of the property is within a FEMA designated floodplain.

There are Class 4 and Class 2 wetlands mapped on the property.

It appears that the proposed event will take place in developed areas on the property outside of mapped floodplain and wetlands and that setbacks for temporary structures including food vendors and temporary toilets will meet required setbacks.

Any newly disturbed areas should be re vegetated with native grass seed to prevent noxious weeds.

As noted last year, more detailed site maps will be helpful that show the location for food vendors, temporary toilets, etc. It would also be helpful to know the number of parking spaces that exist on site in the parking areas.

The event will comply with all Center for Disease Control and State of Colorado guidelines and rules for social distancing and maximum crowd size that are in place at the time of the event.
