Rules of the road charity bicycle ride starting and finishing on CSU Campus. This is our third year applying for this event. Attached route maps and Course Logs.

Traffic Control: This event is rules of the road. There will be a few Officers on the route to assist in some of the more dynamic locations. These will consist of County SO, City of FC PD, and CO State Patrol. I will have an electronic message board at Poudre Canyon and 287 warning motorists to look for bikes. All other segments of the ride will be rules of the road.

As this event is being held at Canvas Stadium within the city limits of Fort Collins if a special event liquor permit is required the City of Fort Collins Clerk's office would handle the issuance of that license.

We have received notice of your Land Use special event permit application that indicates that you intend to serve alcohol at your event. A special event liquor permit application must be submitted to the Clerk and Recorder's Office no less than 30 days prior to your event. Comments: Hi, this event is being held on CSU campus with their catering dept. They will provide the license.

Comments: Any tent or air supported membrane structure greater than 400 square feet requires a tent permit. Any canopy over 700 square feet also requires this permit. The application for a tent permit can be found at https://www.poudre-fire.org/business/new-forms/tent-permit-application .

An emergency access path of no less than 20’ wide shall be maintained free and clear of all immovable objects on streets and fire apparatus access roads at all times during the event. Road blocks may be placed on public streets to prevent traffic from crossing, but cannot block emergency travel. If road blocks are used ensure staff is available to remove barricade should emergency travel be necessary.
