Event will take place at 9680 W CR 38 E, Loveland, CO 80538. The parcel number is 0614000048
We intend to host a friend's small wedding on our property on August 28, 2020. We expect 45-50 attendees at this event. All attendees will RSVP with names and addresses that we will have access to and be able to provide to the county if needed due to COVID-19. The entire event will consist of a ceremony at 6:30 pm followed by a reception. We have informed the couple that the reception will be shut down at 10:30, with all attendees gone by 11:00. The couple is renting a tent that will be 40 feet by 40 feet (temporary structure) to hold their festivities. No roads are really affected as guests will arrive on W CR 38E. The couple is encouraging carpooling since the wedding is 10 miles out of town.We expect an average of 3 people per car, so expect 15-18 cars. We have a large enough driveway to comfortably park all guests, but have additional parking space in our field. Our daughter was married here 6 years ago, with 300 guests attending, and parking was done easily. We have a parking plan and will direct guests as they arrive.
The couple are renting porta-potties for restroom needs from Gallegos Sanitation. These will be located near the south end of the tent (well over 6 feet from the tent), as shown in the sketch. We have informed them that they need to have multiple toilets and handwashing stations. There will also be hand sanitizer stations throughout the event and around the restrooms for guests to use.
The couple is bringing bottled water for guests to drink. We have informed them to plan on a minimum of 4 bottles of water per person.
In addition to bottled water, the couple is having their reception dinner and snacks catered through a local restaurant, Paninos, with other non-alcoholic drinks provided. These drinks will be in cans or bottles. The do intend to provide alcoholic beverages for toasting. We will not charge for alcohol at this event, all drinks will be provided by the couple. This will all be served under the tent.
As far as ensuring the maximum number of people, we have an RSVP list that we will be checking as guests arrive. As stated, we expect 45-50 guests and as the evening goes on, people begin to leave, so this number should just go down.
There will be a DJ at the reception. We will be there to monitor volume levels and keep it very conservative volume-wise, complying with Larimer County Ordinance.
In regard to expected impact on our land and surrounding properties:
As already mentioned, we hosted our daughter's wedding here 6 years ago. There was truly no impact to our land. We even less as they are less than 1/3 of the people attending this event. We will provide ample trash cans for their trash, and we will be there to ensure that guests do not leave the designated
