We would like to run our business as we have for the last nine years. Having music on weekends has been very popular for our local rafting guests and the surrounding neighborhood. Many locals book their trip with the plan to stay afterwards and listen to music. These musical performances are free and open to the public which the local neighborhoods love. We are trying to improve the designated blight zone in this area and the residents applaud those efforts. We would like to have music on Friday 6-10, Saturday 5-9 and Sunday 3-7pm. With 12.77 acres of commercial land it is easy to conform to the noise code.

Reviewing Agency Comments/Status
Email the Special Events Coordinator regarding this application.
Status: ApprovedComments: The noted use of buildings and structures on the property for many years does not mean such use and occupancy complies with county land use and building codes, nor does proposed continued such operation comply with these codes. The house was converted to a commercial office/bathrooms without a required change of occupancy building permit or alteration to meet building codes, including handicap accessibility. No planning or building application has yet been filed to resolve this noncompliance, although many inquiries, meetings and discussions on how to achieve compliance have happened over six years.
Since the home does not meet the requirements of a commercial building and commercial bathroom, it may not be used as part of this Special Event. At least one of the portapotties provided for sanitation purpose must be handicap accessible.
Stages/platforms should be designed for a minimum 100 psf live load and a 131 mph Ultimate Design Wind Speed.
Tents require review and approval by Poudre Fire Authority.
Approval may not be granted for future Special Events if applicants fail to obtain building permits as needed.

Status: ApprovedComments: If alcohol is ONLY being stored, sold, and consumed within the currently liquor licensed premise and in a manner in which the held license covers, no County Special Event Liquor Permit is required.
Status: ApprovedComments: At this time (June 16, 2020) Larimer County is still in a pandemic response.
This location is hard to assess as the site is required to operate under special event permits in order to allow the general public to enjoy the Pub, otherwise the Pub is limited to rafting customers only and no concerts. Under the current COVID-19 restrictions, a concert for 500 people cannot be hosted at this site. Concerts are special events and limited to 50 people with a pre-approved Health Department Plan. Under COVID-19 restrictions, the Pub beverage service could fall under a bar with outdoor seating, but would still not be allowed to have concerts for 500 people. 50 people still requires a Health Department pre-approved Plan.
There is a draft proposal for outdoor public events that is currently under review that may be posted by the end of this week with a change in public gathering numbers for July 2020.
Public gathering/event/concert guidance documents and the public gathering online request form are provided on the following website:
The Pub beverage service shall operate under the restaurant restrictions for re-opening. These guidelines and the required Larimer County Checklist for Reopening are provided on the following website:
Continue to monitor Larimer County's Coronavirus (COVID-19) response website for local restrictions that may differ from the Governor. Though an approval for this Planning Department Special Event Application is provided today, this event is subject to the restrictions of the PH Orders in place at the time of the event. Other Health Dept EOC applications and approvals may be required to continue with the event, which are separate from this review.
