Here are second copies of all the requested traffic control information for CDOT and the general guidelines regarding assistance from the CSP. In addition, I've also attached a request for advice regarding the Larimer County Emergency Management approval, which is contingent on current health orders and how we may work to anticipate those needs, and determine whether or not the event may be held safely for our participants, staff, sponsors and partners.

Comments: Communicate to the Estes Park officers when the first wave leaves the staging area and tell us how many waves there will be.

The lead car in each wave should notify the officers at each intersection of their wave number. The last car in the wave needs to notify the officers that the wave is complete. This tells the officers that there should not be more Jeeps around the blind curves until the next wave. The officer can allow all other traffic to proceed between waves.

There should be a tail car behind the last wave to notify all officers of the end of the event. I know there are stragglers so the officers can stay on post for 5 minutes after the tail car.

Having headlights and/or hazard lights on all participating cars is very helpful. Please ask all participants to turn on their headlights.

Additional notes from 2018
-The Jeeps left the start staging area near Scheels in Loveland at 0930 and arrived in Estes at 10:40:33.

-Getting 3 waves with over 300 cars from Hwy 34 & Mall Rd to the schools took about 1.25 hours.
