Event will take place on various county roads. Saturday the routes are coming from Westminster and ending at CSU. Sunday routes will depart CSU and head back to Westminster. Please see the attached for route maps and cue for exact locations.

Description:
Bike MS, Colorado’s Ride 2020 will take place June 27 and 28, 2020. Bike MS is a charity ride benefiting those living with multiple sclerosis. An estimated 3,000 cyclists and 650 volunteers will participate in the 2-day, 150-mile ride that begins and ends at Front Range Community College in Westminster, and overnights in Ft. Collins. Colorado State University will play host to the cyclists on Saturday night in Ft. Collins. Cyclists will be afforded an optional century route at the end of Day 1. Cyclists will travel on road and mountain bikes as well as a few tandems. The riders will be supported by rest stops every 10 - 16 miles as well as support vehicles (SAG) for the duration of the ride. Additional route services will include marshals, medics, ham operators, staff, and ride officials. These vehicles will range from mini-vans to sprinters, motorcycles, and a handful of personal vehicles.

Comments: Emergency Access: An emergency access path of no less than 20’ wide shall be maintained free and clear of all immovable objects on streets and fire apparatus access roads at all times during the event. Roadblocks may be placed on public streets to prevent traffic from crossing but cannot block emergency travel. If roadblocks are used ensure staff is available to remove barricades should emergency travel be necessary. 2018 Edition International Fire Code, Chapter 5 Fire Service Features, Section 503 Fire Apparatus Access Roads.

Tent Permits: Any tent or air supported membrane structure greater than 400 square feet requires a tent permit. 2018 Edition International Fire Code, Chapter 1 Scope and Administration, Section 105 Permits, 105.6.47 Temporary Membrane Structures and Tents.

The applicant has notified the Clerk & Recorder Department that alcohol is ONLY being stored, sold, and consumed within (insert: city limits, a currently liquor licensed premise, etc). No County Special Event Liquor Permit is required.
