Status: ApprovedComments: At this time (May, 29, 2020) Larimer County is still in a pandemic response and Public Health (PH) Orders are changing frequently and unknown for July 2020. Day Camps have been approved to operate on June 1st. Day camps are allowed and limited to indoor space of 10 people per room, or 25 people outside. Please see the guidance document provided by
The Emergency Opertaions Center (EOC) for the COVID Response is requesting that day camps submit plans per the online form to demonstrate how social distancing will be maintained. Please complete the form on the following link:
Another option would be to submit a plan for public gathering. PH Orders currently do not allow for public gatherings over 10 people. Larimer County’s Variance Request to the State-issued PH Order would potentially allow 11-50 people to gather if the event coordinator can demonstrate compliance with social distancing and other criteria via a written plan approved by the EOC which is managing the pandemic response. The form to submit this plan is available on the Larimer County Coronavirus (COVID-19) website provided below. The public gatherings will be re-evaluated on June 30, 2020.
Please continue to monitor Larimer County's Coronavirus (COVID-19) response website for local restrictions that may differ from the Governor and Colorado Department of Public Health. Though an approval for this Planning Special Event Application is provided today, this is event is subject to the restrictions of the PH Orders in place at the time of the event. Websites for the latest information on community events, face coverings, and physical distancing are provided below.
