This is the High School Bass Fishing State tournament. High School kids of teams of two will partner with a boat driver/mentor, and go out for a day of fishing. Bass will be caught, and weighed on the boat, then they are released immediately, so as not to injure or stress the fish. At the end of each day a tally of each days catch is done. At the end of the tournament a final tally is done to determine the winning team and runner up team of the event. We will crown the top two teams as state champions and they will represent Colorado at the 2021 High School nationals in Tennessee. The kids win trophys for 1st thru 3rd place and award is given for biggest bass caught. This tournament is done through the Colorado Bass Nation youth division. All safety requirements that are required will be followed. Insurance has been applied for for this event.

Please provide a certificate of insurance with general liability limit no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 general aggregate. The certificate of insurance must name Larimer County as the certificate holder (Larimer County Risk Management 200 W Oak St Suite 4000 Fort Collins, CO 80525) and list Larimer County as an additional insured. Please note that Larimer County does not accept additional insured language that limits additional insured status to that which is “required by contract”, however, "by agreement" is an acceptable addition.
