Description:
This is a High School Bass Fishing tournament. High School kids of teams of two will partner with a boat driver/mentor, and go out for a day of fishing. Bass will be caught, and weighed on the boat, then they are released immediately, so as not to injure or stress the fish. At the end of the day a tally of the days catch is done to determine the winner of the event. The kids win trophy's for 1st thru 3rd place and award is given for biggest bass caught. This tournament is done through the Colorado Bass Nation youth division. All safety requirements that are required will be followed. Insurance for this event has been ordered and will be supplied.

Comments: Be advised, if the County is still in a pandemic response in May 2020, this event may not be allowed if the current (and new) orders are still in place prohibiting events over 10 people even when hosted outside. The description indicates that two students will be in each boat with a driver. Depending on the size of the boat, there may not be an ability to maintain the required physical distancing of 6 feet.
