The 12th annual XTERRA Lory Triathlon takes place at Lory State Park, with the 1/2 mile swim portion taking place in Horsetooth Reservoir (N. Eltuk Bay), the bike and run portions are fully contained inside Lory State Park. Rapid Response Paramedic Crew will once again be providing medical coverage for the event.

Comments: Larimer County is still in a pandemic response and Public Health Orders are changing frequently and unknown for June 2020. The website still indicates that the event may occur. At this time, Public Health Orders for Safer at Home prohibit events of 10 or more people, require face coverings and physical distancing of 6 feet. If event attendance restrictions are modified by June, be advised that there may be requirements for face coverings and physical distancing which may not be reasonable for a competitive event.

Please note that the Health Department regulates food service for all incorporated and unincorporated areas within Larimer County. Food & beverage service along the race course shall be limited to commercially prepared and individually packaged foods and beverages, which do not require refrigeration such as power bars, gels, chips/pretzels, candy bars, bottled beverages. All other food preparation and service for the post-race event shall be provided by a nonprofit from Larimer County or a vendor that holds a 2020 Colorado retail food license.
