Big Thompson Watershed Coalition is working to monitor our river restoration sites along the Big Thompson River. On November 8, 2019, from approximately 9am-2pm, we plan to monitor the Cedar Cover and Jasper Lake project sites - both of which were partnered projects with Larimer County. We will head out with 2 staff members and 1 intern, plus 5-7 volunteers. Over these 5 hours we will collect data through aquatic habitat surveys, pebble counts, pool depths, temperatures, and Stream Visual Assessment Protocol surveys.

We will park on private property across the road from the Jasper Lake site. Both staff and volunteers will be aware and conscientious of riparian areas and native vegetation. We will work to reduce any disturbance to the land or property owners during these 5 hours. We will also reach out to private landowners in the area to ensure they have no concerns about the monitoring day.

All monitoring equipment will be property of BTWC and will be removed from the site once the event is complete.

We hope that through this event we will not only engage community members, but also generate a better understanding of the current status of river restoration projects BTWC participated in. This will allow us to more effectively manage previous sites and better plan for future sites. We will also provide the county with subsequent monitoring reports.

Sorry for the confusion with the address.1503 Boise Ave Loveland, CO 80538 is Big Thompson Watershed Coalition's office address. This is not where the event will be held. The monitoring day (event) will take place at the Jasper Lake/Cedar Cove sites which are accessed through narrows park which is the address in the certificate: For owner of land: Narrows Park, 1027 West Highway 34, Loveland, CO.

3. Date Submitted: 11/06/2019
Here is an updated COI which includes the locations of Jasper Lake and Cedar Cove as you suggested we list them. Please let me know if this works. Thanks!

Comments: Thank you!

The coverage must apply to the full location of the event, the language that is currently on the certificate is very specific (Narrows Park, 1027 West Highway 34, Loveland, CO). Please change the language to be broader, as an example: Narrows Park, 1027 West Highway 34, Loveland, CO to include Jasper Lake & Cedar Cove.

The Certificate of Insurance should cover the site where the Special Event will be conducted (Jasper Lake/Cedar Cove), as well as, the access location (Narrow Parks). Please update the comment on the certificate to include the location of the special event. Thank you.

** The attached certificate notes "For owner of land: Narrows Park, 1027 West Highway 34, Loveland, CO" however the location listed on the application is "1503 Boise Ave Loveland, CO 80538" and "Cedar Cover and Jasper Lake project sites". Can you verify which address this special event is regarding? Thank you."

Please provide a certificate of insurance with general liability limit no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 general aggregate. The certificate of insurance must name Larimer County as certificate holder (Larimer County Risk Management 200 W Oak St Suite 4000 Fort Collins, CO 80525) and list Larimer County as additional insured. Larimer County does not accept additional insured language that limits additional insured status to that which is “required by contract”.
Thank you.
