Description:
The Buffalo Bicycle Classic (BBC) is a scholarship fundraiser that supports need-based students at CU boulder. All recipients are CO residents of high merit. 2020 marks the 18th year of the BBC. This year, the event will be held on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020

4 routes (about 300 riders) will ride into Larimer county, either around carter lake or thru Allenspark to Lily Lake. We would like to set up a turnaround at Serenity Lane just south of the Lily Lake and host an aid station there. We work with the State Patrol and the Larimer County Sheriffs office to make sure we have adequate law enforcement present to ensure the safety of both motorists and riders.

We use TVEMS for an on-call ambulance at Carter lake and Mountain State along HWY 7 and 36E. We host two aid stations with EMTS before and after the carter lake climb. Additionally, we have SAG wagons following our riders throughout the event.

This is the Buff Epic 100 Mile route in Larimer County off of S St Vrain / CO-7. Numbers on the map indicate mile distances from the start in Boulder.

The Buff Epic 100mi route enters Larimer County on S St. Vrain past St Catherine’s Chapel on the Rock. The route then proceeds along S St Vrain until Serenity Ln. At this point, there is an aid station & the route turns around & doubles-back along itself. The route then exit’s Larimer County at the same point it entered along S St. Vrain.
