Red Mountain Open Space
This event is a geology field trip to look at outcrops of Cretaceous Rocks exposed on the Red Mountain Open Space. We are requesting permission to use radio tower access road off CR 21. We will park at gate and walk along access road to the north end of the road just beyond the radio tower and then east along the two-track dirt road to the outcrops. We will walk south along the outcrops to the southern boundary of the open space and west along the fence line back to the vehicles.
There will be two 12-passengers vans and one SUV.
Although the Ackerman’s run cattle on the open space during the spring and early summer, we understand that they do not run cattle out there in the fall.

The certificate of insurance must name Larimer County as certificate holder (Larimer County Risk Management 200 W Oak St Suite 4000 Fort Collins, CO 80525) and list Larimer County as additional insured.
2. A copy of the participant waiver (student waiver is acceptable).
