Event will be located at New Belgium Brewery. We will be using mostly dirt roads north and east of Fort Collins. Maps of courses will be attached.

Foco Fondo is Northern Colorado's premier dirt road cycling event. Back for the Forth year we are featuring family friendly events and challenging long events through a 100, 50, 25 and 11 mile route. Find attached details and maps for review.

Comments: We have received notice of your Land Use special event permit application that indicates that you intend to serve alcohol at your event. A special event liquor permit application must be submitted to the Clerk and Recorders office no less than 30 days prior to your event. Jake has informed the Clerk & Recorder Department that alcohol is ONLY being stored/sold/consumed within City limits, no County Liquor Permit is required for this Special Event. Thank you.

Comments: CR 70 between CR 15 and CR 19 is currently closed for construction and is it is scheduled to be closed until fall of 2019. Race may need to be rerouted to follow detour since probably will not be able to cross CR 70 at CR 17

Comments: Information was not provided on the food service for the aid stations, ride lunch and post-race event. Please note that all food service in both unincorporated and municipalities of Larimer County are regulated by Larimer County Health Department. Food must be from a commercial source for the aid stations, lunch and post-race. Food cannot be prepared for event participants without a retail food license.

Food and beverage for aid stations and ride lunches must be limited to commercially prepared food items in order to avoid a retail food license for the event coordinator/food vendor. Please limit food and beverage to the following:
=commercially prepared and individually packaged foods and beverages that do not require refrigeration; examples include packaged power bars, gels, bottled water/beverages.
=hot coffee, tea, other instant hot beverages.
=bagels, muffins, or pastries that are commercially prepared and do not require refrigeration.
=whole uncut produce
=Water (or as an ingredient for a beverage) must be from a public water supply which is transported and dispensed in clean containers designed for potable water service.

Food service for the post-race meal must be provided by a licensed caterer, food truck(s), or other licensed food vendor who holds a 2019 Retail Food License. If food vendors have questions of need a current license, please have them contact the Health Department at 970.498.6776, and review our website:

Please ensure potable water is supplied/accessible throughout the race and at the start/finish area.

It has been acknowledged that restrooms will be provided at the start/finish and throughout the race at aid stations.

Please ensure adequate trash receptacles are also provided at restrooms, aid stations and at the race start/finish areas. If not already planning to do so, it is recommended to provide multiple waste receptacles for separating waste such as recyclables and landfill items.
