Description:
To whom it may concern,

Thank you for taking the time to read over our application, we're very thankful.

Our event is an endurance event called the All Terrain Games. We will be testing individuals fitness levels across a broad spectrum of events like swimming, running, climbing, biking, strength, etc.

Our mission is to empower people to get outside of the gym and do fitness tasks that they wouldn't ordinarily do, let alone in the great outdoors.

Since we are a passionate outdoors fitness company who is only able to do what we do thanks to Natural Resources Departments such as yours, our hope is that our event only helps your agenda and aids in the great work done by the Larimer County Natural Resources Department.

Our event dates are flexible within the months of August and September as we have not released any official dates to potential registrants. If after labor day is more ideal for the Horsetooth Reservoir we are more than happy to accommodate that.

Things to be approved:

- We will be purchasing one day insurance to the minimum requirements through - United States Adventure Racing Association.

- Medical staffing, communication network, emergency management, transport coordination, and even post event clean-up and debriefs will be provided by a specialized event medical company, such as Event Medical Solutions Unlimited, LLC. Unless Larimer County Natural Resources Department has prefered medical solutions company then we would be more than happy to work with them.

-Our event will start at 9:00am with the physical activities ending at 5:00pm and will be followed up with the closing ceremonies which will end at 7:30pm sharp followed by clean up until about 9:00pm

- Between the hours of 9am-5pm - racers will try to complete as many physical tasks as possible within the given time frame - events will include:

.5 Mile Swim
10k Run
20k Mountain Bike
Bouldering Challenge (on a sanctioned bouldering wall setup by us)
Strength Challenge (Consisting of carries, pulls, and other natural body strength movements)
Mental Challenge (Knot tying, flower naming, etc.)
Speed Challenge (Sprinting)
Kayaking Challenge

- Within those hours of 9am-5pm, participants will rack up points for completion of physical tasks and try to accumulate the most points possible to win the event. (Swimming events will have 3 specific starting times at 9:00am, 12:00pm, 3:00pm)

At the conclusion of the physical activities at 5:00pm we will have our medals ceremony. During the medals ceremony we would like to include a bluegrass band along with a few approved food and beer vendors.

Our closing ceremonies will allow us to build a sense of community with participants and be a great time to promote any unique projects that may be coming up within the Larimer County Natural Resources Department or Larimer County.

This is a unique adventure race in the sense that nothing like this has been done before. Our event combines elements from Triathlons, Spartan Races, and Crossfit, to combine them all and see who is the most All Terrain Human.

That being said, we hope that Horsetooth Reservoir will be the first place to host the All Terrain Games. Our main mission is to change the lives of our participants and create a symbiotic relationship between us and Larimer County for many years to come.

Thank you again for taking the time to read over our application.

We hope this is only the start of a thriving relationship!
