The FrostBite Time Trial is an 11.4 mile time trial bicycle race over an out and back course on the east service road of I-25 between exits 288 and 281. Riders will start from the start/finish area on the frontage road near exit 288, ride to the turn around near exit 281 and return to the start/finish area.
Certified flaggers and course marshals will be stationed along the course as indicated on the Traffic Control Plan attached to the application. The road will be open to traffic, guided by the flaggers and marshals. Local residents along the course will be notified prior to the event of traffic control measures. Signage will be placed as shown on the Traffic Control Plan on the day of the event. Racers are directed to ride as far to the right as practical.
The event will start at 8am and end at approximately 2pm.
There are no aid stations or stops along the course. A Poudre Valley Hospital ambulance will be stationed at the top of the hill near the start/finish as indicated on the Traffic Control Plan.
Cell phones and radios will be used for any special communication.

Status: ApprovedComments: Emergency Access: An emergency access path no less than 20’ wide shall be maintained free and clear of all immovable objects on streets and fire apparatus access roads, at all times during the event. Road blocks may be placed on public streets to prevent traffic from crossing but cannot block emergency apparatus travel if road blocks are used ensure staffing is available to remove barricades should emergency apparatus travel becomes necessary.
