The Weld County Waltz is part The Winter Ralleye ride series, which has been happening annually since 2003. This is a Rules of the Road ride with a safety talk at the start of the ride reminding riders to 1) obey all city, county and traffic regulations 2) be reminded to be courteous to other users of the roads and trails and 3) this is a self supported ride, 81 miles long, each rider must carry all food water and emergency supplies needed. The ride starts at Bean Cycle on N. College. The ride starts at 7:30 am to minimize traffic disruptions and moves as quickly as possible to low traveled gravel roads. Over the course of the ride we naturally break up into smaller groups. By the time we return to Fort Collins, we’re typically in groups of 2-5 riders. The ride travels generally east and north of Fort Collins passing by or through Carr, Nunn and Pierce. The ride finishes at Road 35 Bar & Grill.

Insurance will be provided by Bike Fort Collins again in 2019. I've uploaded a copy of the 2018 certificate for reference. Their policy expires on 2/1/2019 so we have to wait until after that date to get the updated certificate.
