Event start south of the old stadium on Dixon Canyon Drive, heads north on Centennial Drive to Bingham Hill Road, then east to Overland Trail and Lions Park. Poudre Bike path east to the finish at New Belgium Brewery.

The 46th running of the Horsetooth Half will run from Dixon Canyon Rd, south of the old stadium to New Belgium Brewery by way of Centennial Drive, Bingham Hill Road and the Poudre Bike Path. Free shuttles will be provided from the finish to parking at the Holiday Twin Drive-In.

Comments: Food service for any post-race meal must be provided by a licensed caterer, temp event vendor or food truck(s). It appears that Rio Grande will be serving again this year.

It is understood that aid stations will be available and refreshments at the end of the race. If Food service at aid stations will not require a retail food license provided food and beverage service is limited to:
=commercially prepared and individually packaged foods and beverages that do not require refrigeration. Examples include packaged power bars, gels, bottled water and juice.
=hot coffee, tea, instant hot beverages
=bagels, muffins, or pastries that are commercially prepared and do not require refrigeration
=whole uncut produce
=Service of water and energy drinks dispensed from clean beverage dispensing containers

Adequate toilets need to be provided at the start/finish area and as necessary at aid stations. It is understood that public restrooms are available along the Poudre Trail, but additional stations must be provided along the race course, as well as the start and finish of all the races.

Comments: EMERGENCY ACCESSS: An emergency access path of no less than 20’ wide shall be maintained free and clear of all immovable objects on streets and fire apparatus access roads at all times during the event. Road blocks may be placed on public streets to prevent traffic from crossing, but cannot block emergency travel. If road blocks are used ensure staff is available to remove barricade should emergency travel be necessary. (2015 IFC, 503.4)
